CIFAL Lebanon is pleased to announce the second installment of its two-part webinar series on Emergency Response Planning (ERP), "Strengthening Emergency Response Planning: From Framework to Action." Building on the foundational knowledge from our first session ("An Introduction to Emergency Response Planning"), this webinar will focus on the practical implementation of ERP strategies, emphasizing coordination, crisis communication, and business continuity.
What to Expect:
This webinar will explore the next steps in ERP development, guiding participants through key considerations for emergency response coordination, structured communication plans, and inclusive response strategies. Participants will gain insights into stakeholder roles, decision-making processes, and best practices for implementing emergency response procedures. The session will also highlight business continuity planning as a critical element of ERP, ensuring organizations can maintain essential functions during and after a crisis.
Through real-world case studies, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Beirut Blast, and Sudan War, participants will analyze lessons learned from past emergencies and explore how risk mitigation, recovery planning, and inter-agency coordination can enhance crisis response efforts. • For a Certificate of Completion, participants must have completed both days of the program and completed the short assessment. This certificate will include signatures from CIFAL Lebanon, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
